It appears that you have multiple instances of MP installed on the page. Also, did you copy and paste the script from an example page somewhere?? I ask because all of the " show as &quot in the page. Example: standby="Loading Microsoft Windows Media Player components.

On Windows 98 and 2000 I can start multiple copies of the application by double clicking associated Like the Windows Media Player and Outlook. We can't force the application to open in a new copy. However, if you enter "mplayer2" in the run dialog you can still get to the old pre-bloat version of WMP. Yup. And you can resize the mplayer2 window. And you can have multiple instances of mplayer2

Windows Media Player
I've got the Windows Media Player version above..........it's the older one that comes with Win95........I like using it as better than the later versions, because you can have multiple instances open and it's not got loads of cheesy features that I don't want (eg visualisation plug-ins etc.).
